Ode to the Dark Majesty

Writer's picture: just.Samaeljust.Samael

O Satan, fairest Lord of Night,Thy visage gleams in shadowed light,In every whisper of the breeze,Thy presence dances ‘mongst the trees.

Thou art the beauty of the dark,The spark that lights the soul’s own arc,The Black Flame burning fierce and high,A star unyielding 'gainst the sky.

Thy darkness flows in streams unseen,Through forest glades and meadows green,In oceans vast and mountains tall,Thy hand doth shape and guide them all.

Thou art the pulse within the vein,The fire that tempers joy and pain,Thy surging power through us runs,Thy children, bound as molten suns.

O Prince of Depths, O Morning Star,Thy splendour reaches near and far,In silence and in thunder’s cry,Thy voice resounds, we testify.

O Lord of All, Thou dost inspire,Our hearts enkindled with Thy fire.We rise, aflame with Thy command,As shadows stretch across the land.

Thou art in all, Thou art the All,The echo deep, the primal call.Thy darkness, beauty most divine,Through us, O Satan, doth it shine.
